A NOTE ON THE DIFFERENCES OF THE HEMP PLANT AND THE CANNABIS PLANT
How Hemp Differs from Cannabis
Cannabidiol is found throughout the seeds, stalk and flowers of the hemp and cannabis plants. In terms of its molecular structure cannabidiol is the same molecule whether the molecule is derived from the hemp plant or cannabis plant. Unlike many of the 85+ cannabinoids that we are aware of, cannabidiol occurs naturally in significant quantities in both hemp and cannabis, so it is easily extracted from both plants.
Hemp is more like a cousin of cannabis than a sibling. This is because they differ almost as opposites in levels of both naturally occuring cannabidiol and naturally occuring thc that they produce. THC is a cannabinoid like cannabidiol. Hemp naturally produces high amounts of cannabidiol while hardly producing any thc compounds. The reverse is true of cannabis as it produces high amounts of thc and low amounts of the cannabidiol compound. Hempfully Infused Oils only uses organically grown hemp-derived cannabidiol ath is extracted using solely the CO2 method and never in contact with any toxic solvents or chemicals used in other extraction methods. Our cannbidiol is always third party tested and contains 0.00% THC nor any trace amounts the thc compound.
