How Hemp Differs from Cannabis

Cannabidiol is found throughout the seeds, stalk and flowers of the hemp and cannabis plants.  In terms of its molecular structure cannabidiol is the same molecule whether the molecule is derived from the hemp plant or cannabis plant.  Unlike many of the 85+ cannabinoids that we are aware of, cannabidiol occurs naturally in significant quantities in both hemp and cannabis, so it is easily extracted from both plants.

Hemp is more like a cousin of cannabis than a sibling.  This is because they differ almost as opposites in levels of both naturally occuring cannabidiol and naturally occuring thc that they produce.  THC is a cannabinoid like cannabidiol.  Hemp naturally produces high amounts of cannabidiol while hardly producing any thc compounds.  The reverse is true of cannabis as it produces high amounts of thc and low amounts of the cannabidiol compound.  Hempfully Infused Oils only uses organically grown hemp-derived cannabidiol ath is extracted using solely the CO2 method and never in contact with any toxic solvents or chemicals used in other extraction methods.  Our cannbidiol is always third party tested and contains 0.00% THC nor any trace amounts the thc compound.

Ways to Take Hemp Cannabidiol

There are a variety of ways you can take hemp cannabidiol for pain management and each has its benefits.  The serving size differs from method to method and person to person. Using hemp cannabidiol for pain has been reported to be incredibly beneficial for millions of people. While it works for many, it doesn’t work for all. If you have quality of life changing pain, consider consulting a reputable pain-relief specialist. Please see the FDA Disclaimer.

Drops under the tongue are a fast way for the cannabidiol compound to enter the bloodstream.  You’ll feel the effect shortly thereafter.  This is our recommended method.  The easiest way is to use a pipette (or 'dropper') to extract a specific amount of an oil infused with hemp cannabidiol and dispense the oil under the tongue of the mouth.  Wait 60 seconds before swallowing or drinking any water or liquids.

Topical Creams

Topical creams with hemp derived cannabidiol are used to massage sore muscles and apply topically to areas with pain.  The effects are felt immediately though don’t last as long as when you ingest the oil.  We will be releasing a line of Hempfully infused topicals in the summer of 2019

These are foods that are baked with hemp oil in the ingredients, often brownies, cookies, snacks and common treats (such as gummy bear candies). You won’t notice the effects for around an hour or so and even less on an empty stomach. We only recommend taking organic, sugar-free edibles. We don't recommend taking most edibles for two reasons: the stomach acid will break down some of the beneficial cannabidiol before it has a chance to be absorbed into the body's ECS system.  This can waste a portion of the cannabidiol due to having been broken down by stomach acid.  Also it is widely recognized currently that sugar will not assist anyone with any ailments. In fact, the medical community is tarting to recognize the possible role sugar has in exacerbating physical ailments and disease. Therefore, it could be counterproductive to us to take cannabidiol and sugar at the same time.

Capsules are a way to absorb hemp cannabidiol without the use of an it being infused into an oil or base. They take longer to break down and enter the bloodstream, so you won’t feel the effects as soon as you would with drops under the tongue.  Once the capsules have been broken down by the stomach, the cannabidiol will being to be absorbed by the body.

You can also smoke the  through a vaporizer when it is combined with relevant smokable oils and e-liquid oils. This is a fast-acting method that enables you to feel results quickly, however, some people prefer not to inhale from a vaporizer. Be very aware of the oils they may use to mix the cannabidiol in vaporizers. Some types of vaping liquids being used today are created in labs using processed chemicals which can subsequently be harmful, refuting the purpose of vaping cannabidiol.
